The new pumping station, made from 
concrete with a steel frame, will be about 
nine metres high.

There will also be a new water storage tank, 
also known as a reservoir. It will be about six 
metres high, made of concrete and have a 
capacity of 25 megalitres – about the same as 
10 Olympic-size swimming pools.

The water conditioning plant, used to 
monitor the quality of the water entering the 
storage tank, will be about three metres high.

There will also be a drainage pond, also 
known as an attenuation pond, which will be 
used as an overflow area for the storage tank.
